Industry Expertise

CENX’s management team's expertise and leadership of Ethernet, Carrier Ethernet and telecom interconnection includes president, board and chairmanship positions in Gigabit Ethernet Alliance, 10 Gigabit Ethernet Alliance, Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), as well as the founding of the successful telecom interconnection company Neutral Tandem.

The CENX management team has been instrumental in defining Carrier Ethernet, its standards and market, creating the Carrier Ethernet Certification program that now has thousands of certified products and services, and successfully implementing innovative telecom interconnections.

The CENX management team has served and continues to serve in key industry leadership roles including: MEF President, MEF Chair of the Board, Co-Chair of MEF Technical Committee, Co-Chair of MEF Marketing Committee, Co-Chair of MEF Global Interconnect working group, Co-Chair of MEF Ethernet Exchange Committee, Co-Editor of MEF Carrier Ethernet ENNI and other key industry standards.
