CENX has integrated into the CENX platform both hardware and software elements from EXFO's BrixNGN service assurance solution in order to provide off-net SLA monitoring. Specifically, selected virtual connection attributes may be monitored using a variety of custom and standard protocols in line with current and upcoming specifications from the MEF, ITU, etc. This allows measurement of conformance to CIR, EIR, etc., in wholesale and end-customer SLAs. The system is scalable to vast numbers of Ethernet Virtual Connections with the resulting information being returned for analysis by the BrixWorks software, which has been integrated into the CENX OSS and Monitoring Application with customizable user reports. |
