CENX provides the industry’s first deployment of off-net service-level monitoring for Carrier Ethernet services. This new capability yields compelling cost, time and quality of service advantages for service providers interconnecting via a CENX exchange. Instead of running blind or deploying expensieve customer premises equipment, a service provider needing to reach Ethernet Service Locations, can now actively monitor the key attributes of each Operator Virtual Connection (OVC) when that connection is made via a CENX exchange. Monitoring is from the CENX Exchange to off-net Ethernet Service Locations – now without needing costly customer premises equipment. |

| CENX's new integrated solution enables constant, normalized measurement of the performance of each service against its SLA criteria, rapid response to issues and higher quality service for the ultimate end-user. The measurements are gathered centrally and processed to provide both real-time notification and historical SLA reports. Buyers and Sellers of an OVC in question can securely access this information in a normalized form (i.e. consistent across the different sellers) either via the CENX Market web application or via open APIs directly into their Operational Support Systems (OSS). | |
