CENX provides the industry’s first deployment of network-wide service-level SLA monitoring for Carrier Ethernet services. This new capability yields compelling cost, time and quality of service advantages for service providers. It's also a key element in capacity planning. Instead of running blind or deploying expensive customer premises equipment, a Service Provider can now actively monitor the key attributes of each service when connections are made via CENX. Monitoring is from CENX to Ethernet Service Locations – now without the need of costly remote monitoring equipment. |
A unique Partnership
The monitoring service is a result of a collaborative partnership between CENX and EXFO, a leading provider of test and service assurance solutions for network operators. For more information visit the EXFO Partner's page |

The system also provides capacity planning capabilities. Mobile operators can manage backhaul capacity via saturation reports and set thresholds for saturation alarms. Providing the insight required to stay ahead of potential network congestion. CENX's new integrated solution enables constant, normalized measurement of the performance of each service against its SLA criteria, rapid response to issues and higher quality service for the ultimate end-user. The measurements are gathered centrally and processed to provide both real-time notification and historical SLA reports. |

Integration and Turn-up Testing Since CENX understands, the circuits in inventory, the circuit attributes and the ordered services, it's ideally placed for combining this information with service integration and turn up testing. This is where errors between ordered and provisioned systems often occur and the complete CENX solution eliminates or easily catches such problems. |
