Interconnect

Physical interconnection is made between CENX service provider members' networks and the CENX System, a resilient, highly integrated platform distributed at strategic co-location points around the world. CENX supports high availability, low-latency interconnects via single or multiple-protected Gigabit Ethernet (1GbE) and 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) interfaces.

With a physical connection in place, CENX members can establish virtual service-level interconnections with all other CENX service provider members connected to CENX System. The CENX System automatically aligns and manages interconnected CENX members’ Carrier Ethernet services for smooth and seamless operations across all CENX's service provider members’ networks.
